Come to work with Redline!

From time to time Redline Event Photography has a need for Second Shooters, Sorter/Sales Assistants to work in our event trailer or booth, and Photo Assistants to help out on some shoots. No photography or sales experience is necessary, but it is a plus! All necessary training will be provided. And we also provide the necessary equipment for the jobs. Most work is on weekends. On occasion, we photograph evening events. This is a fast paced environment. Candidates should be friendly, outgoing, and must be able to follow direction, and work well with the team, and our customers. These are all part time jobs. Redline currently has no full time positions available.

The Jobs

Second Shooters: Just as it says, you will be working as an additional photographer. At some events you will be assigned a certain area or part of the event to photograph. If you have some photography experience that is a plus, but not necessary. We can teach you what you need to know. Note to experienced photographers and photography students: Most of our work is production based photography. If you are an "artist" you will probably not enjoy much of this work. However, for events like weddings having an artistic style is a plus!

Sorter/Sales Assistant: This job includes downloading photo files to our onsite server. Culling out any bad ones. Assisting our customers, and making sales. This is a key position with Redline. You must have basic computer skills, be able to follow directions, be friendly and helpful to our customers. And be able to communicate well with the other people working the job. You also must be organized and able to work quickly, and sometimes multitask If you have any retail or sales experience this is a plus, but not necessary.

Photo Assistant: Every now and then we need someone to assist the photographer on a shoot. It might be for a portrait session, engagement session a wedding or even a modeling session. As the position name implies, the photo assistant is there to help the photographer. An assistant should be prepared to help with posing subjects, sometimes wrangling horses, moving or securing lights, handling reflectors and diffusers, and helping out in any other way to ensure the shoot runs smoothly.

Handler: For certain jobs we need a handler/wrangler to help with the animals, and assist the photographer during the shoot. Candidates should be familiar with handling/working with and around horses. And would preferably have some sort of riding instruction or coaching background. Being able to follow direction and safely execute instructions is a must. Please Note: Due to safety concerns and the critical nature of this position, applicants must be at least 18 years old and must have extensive experience handling horses.

Marketing Rep: (New Position) We are looking for a couple people to market our Barnshoots (portrait sessions) to your local boarding and lesson barns. These positions will be divided by local counties/regions, and will all be within a short driving distance from where you live. Having equestrian experience is preferred. Applicants must have transportation to be considered. Please contact us for additional information and compensation details.
